The body and door are fortified with five layers of fireboard exceeding 2 inches of total insulation, plus an added 1/8" fire barrier throughout the walls, ceiling, floor, and door jambs.

A heat-activated expandable door seal expands up to eight times its thickness, sealing out smoke, heat, and water during a fire. This layered approach ensures your firearms, documents, and valuables remain protected even in extreme conditions.

The MAX794528 features a 3-gauge steel body (¼” thick) — far exceeding standard residential safes — paired with a 5 1/8” composite door reinforced with a ¼” solid steel plate. This construction delivers exceptional resistance to prying, cutting, and forced entry.
