ISO 9001 Certification

A globally recognized quality management standard that confirms a manufacturer consistently meets customer and regulatory requirements. This certification ensures strong leadership, reliable processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

UL® ½-Hour Fire Rating

Tested by Underwriters Laboratories (UL®) to keep the internal temperature below 350°F during a 30-minute fire exposure up to 1550°F. This rating confirms that paper contents remain usable after a short, intense fire.

UL® 1-Hour Fire Rating

Verified by UL® to keep the interior under 350°F for 1 hour during a fire reaching 1700°F. Provides strong protection for documents in moderate-to-severe fire conditions.

UL® 2-Hour Fire Rating

Certified by UL® to keep the inside temperature below 350°F for 2 hours during a fire reaching 1850°F. This is a high-level fire protection rating for critical documents.

½-Hour Fire Rating (Non-UL)

Independently tested to maintain an interior temperature below 350°F for 30 minutes under fire conditions.

1-Hour Fire Rating (Non-UL)

Independently tested to keep the internal temperature under 350°F for 1 hour during a fire.

2-Hour Fire Rating (Non-UL)

Independently tested to maintain an interior temperature less than 350°F for 2 hours in fire exposure.

B-Rated Safe

A safe constructed with less than ½” steel walls and less than 1” steel door, equipped with a quality locking mechanism. B-Rated safes provide durable, entry-level burglary protection.

C-Rated Safe

Built with at least ½” steel walls and a 1” thick door, plus a secure lock. C-Rated safes offer stronger burglary resistance than B-Rated models.

UL® 1-Hour 125 Media Rating

UL®-tested to protect digital media such as hard drives and flash storage. Maintains an interior temperature below 125°F and humidity under 80% during 1 hour at 1700°F. Suitable for heat-sensitive electronics.

UL® 2-Hour 125 Media Rating

Maintains interior temperatures under 125°F and humidity below 80% for 2 hours at 1850°F. Ideal for safeguarding critical digital files.

UL® 3-Hour 125 Media Rating

Protects heat-sensitive electronic media for 3 hours at 1925°F while keeping the internal temperature below 125°F and humidity under 80%.

ETL Electronic Media – 30 Minutes

Tested by Intertek (ETL) to protect electronic media for 30 minutes up to 1550°F. Ensures digital storage devices remain usable after exposure.

ETL Water-Resistant

Certified to resist sprinkler spray and moisture intrusion. Ensures contents remain protected during firefighting or accidental water exposure.

Water Resistant

Designed to prevent water damage from firefighting hoses, minor flooding, and sprinkler systems.

UL® 30-Foot Impact Rating

After completing a fire test, the safe is dropped 30 feet onto concrete and bricks, inverted, then reheated. Passing this test ensures the safe can withstand severe structural collapse during a fire.

2000°F Explosion Hazard Rating

The safe is placed in a superheated 2000°F oven for at least 30 minutes. Passing this test confirms the safe will not explode or rupture under extreme heat.

UL® High Security Key Lock

UL®-listed lock that resists drilling and picking. Keys can only be duplicated through authorized channels, ensuring tightly controlled access.

UL® RSC Burglary Rating (Residential Security Container)

A safe tested to endure five minutes of aggressive prying, drilling, punching, chiseling, and tampering by UL technicians. A strong burglary-resistant rating for home and light commercial use.

Theft Resistant

Designed to provide basic security against unauthorized access and opportunistic theft. Best used for low-risk environments.

TL-15 Burglary Rating (UL Certified)

A TL-15 safe is tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to resist a 15-minute concentrated attack on the safe door using professional burglary tools. During testing, UL technicians attempt to break into the safe using drills, grinders, prybars, chisels, and other common tools. A safe only earns the TL-15 rating if it prevents entry for the full 15 minutes of active tool time.

Ideal for: jewelry, cash, high-value assets, small business or home use requiring strong burglary resistance.

What These Ratings Mean

  • TL = Tool-Resistant Locking Mechanism & Door

  • Numbers = Minutes of Active Tool Time

  • Testing applies to the door, not the entire body of the safe

  • UL testing simulates a real-world, professional burglary attempt

TL-30 Burglary Rating (UL Certified)

A TL-30 safe provides double the protection of TL-15 models, resisting a 30-minute concentrated attack on the safe door using the same category of tools. UL engineers conduct aggressive break-in attempts with drills, saws, grinders, sledgehammers, and more. Only safes that prevent door penetration for the full 30 minutes earn this high-security rating.

Ideal for: luxury homes, jewelry stores, pharmacies, financial institutions, and environments with elevated theft risk.

What These Ratings Mean

  • TL = Tool-Resistant Locking Mechanism & Door

  • Numbers = Minutes of Active Tool Time

  • Testing applies to the door, not the entire body of the safe

  • UL testing simulates a real-world, professional burglary attempt

Keyed Alike (KA)

Keyed Alike (KA) means that multiple safes—typically of the same model—are manufactured to use one identical override key. With KA safes, a single master key can open every unit in the group.

This feature is especially valuable for:

  • Hotels & hospitality

  • Multi-unit businesses

  • Property managers

  • Facilities with staff-controlled access

The KA designation applies only to the physical override key. It does not affect the electronic keypad, card-swipe lock, or user codes. Each safe still operates independently through its digital lock system, while the shared key provides streamlined administrative access when needed.
