Safe Delivery Guide & Installation
Curbside, Threshold & White Glove Delivery Made Simple
Professional, secure delivery for your new safe — coordinated entirely by Vaults Plus.
Vaults Plus handles every step of the delivery process, from freight shipping to coordinating certified installation technicians. Below is everything you need to know to ensure a smooth, stress-free delivery experience.
1. Standard Curbside Delivery
Curbside delivery is the most common and cost-effective option.
What’s Included
-
Safe arrives via freight truck.
-
Driver lowers the safe to the ground using a liftgate.
-
Safe is placed at the curb, end of driveway, or nearest accessible area.
-
Drivers cannot move the safe inside the garage, home, or business.
-
You may request the driver to move the pallet closer, yet this is optional and at the driver’s discretion.
Access Limitations
Freight trucks may be unable to access:
-
Rural or remote roads
-
Dirt, gravel, or private driveways
-
Narrow residential streets
-
Cul-de-sacs or dead-end streets
-
Areas with steep slopes or uneven terrain
In these cases, you may be required to meet the truck at the closest accessible location.
Large Safe Exceptions
Curbside delivery may require special accommodations if your safe is:
-
Taller than 66"
-
Heavier than 1,400 lbs
-
A vault door
Vaults Plus will verify compatibility before shipping.
2. Threshold Delivery (Optional Upgrade)
Threshold Delivery provides a step above curbside without full installation.
What’s Included
-
Safe delivered to your first enclosed, ground-level area:
-
Garage or porch
-
First dry, covered entry
-
Inside the front door (no stairs)
-
-
Safe remains on the pallet and is not unboxed.
-
No movement beyond the first weather-protected space.
Threshold Delivery Is Ideal If:
-
Your safe is light enough for you or your team to move inside later.
-
You want more protection than curbside but don’t need full installation.
-
Your entry is easy-access (no stairs, obstacles, or tight hallways).
Note:
Stairs, narrow hallways, elevators, steep slopes, or other access restrictions may require White Glove Delivery instead.
3. White Glove Delivery (Full Inside Placement)
White Glove Delivery is handled by professional safe movers coordinated by Vaults Plus.
What’s Included
-
Shipment routed directly to a certified installer
-
Installer receives and inspects the safe
-
Inside delivery to the exact room you choose
-
Unboxing and debris removal
-
Safe placed in final position
-
Optional: Bolt-down installation
White Glove + Bolt-Down Installation
Bolt-down service ensures your safe is permanently anchored for maximum security.

Bolt-down benefits:
